Aphomosis, Assimilation Mind is a pair of Ultra Wyverns of the Nessian Schism dispatched to take out the Guardian after they had destroyed several Vex devices siphoning dark matter from Kepler.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Both Aphomosis appear in the final battle of Mission: Calculus, alongside a large horde of Vex. One of the Minds is protected by a Matterspark Bane shield, while the other gains it after losing almost half of its health. To undo this shield, the player must enter Matterspark themselves and use their burst. At this point, the battle will continue until both Minds are destroyed, completing the mission.
