- "Destiny is at its best when it's mysterious, weird, and not afraid to try new things. This shift to nonlinear stories isn’t something we’re locking ourselves into, but it is the structure that fits Codename: Apollo best."
- — Alison Lührs[1]
The Edge of Fate[2], previously known as Codename: Apollo[1], is the upcoming ninth expansion of Destiny 2 as well as the thirteenth expansion of the Destiny franchise. It is the first expansion of The Fate Saga. It will be the first of two expansions in the Year of Prophecy, and will be nonlinear.[1]
Description[edit]
Edge of Fate is described as a nonlinear, character-driven, medium-sized expansion (one of two in 2025) which will end in a significant narrative event that will fuel the story of Destiny for several years.[1]
