The Edge of Fate[1] is the ninth expansion of Destiny 2 as well as the thirteenth expansion of the Destiny franchise. It is the first expansion of The Fate Saga and the first of two expansions in the Year of Prophecy. The expansion features a non-linear campaign.[2]

Trivia[edit]

  • The Edge of Fate has a number of achievements:
    • Being the first main line DLC to not ship with a Strike.
    • The second main line DLC to have one new enemy unit for the Fallen and Vex.
  • At the release of Edge of Fate, the voice actors for Ikora Rey, Orin and Chioma Esi were unavailable for recording and had other voice actors as a placeholder, with Debra Wilson voicing Ikora and Chioma. This voicelines would be redubbed with the release of the Ash & Iron update.
  • The Edge of Fate was known by the codename Codename: Apollo before the expansion's title was officially announced.[2]
