(Mission Begins)

Curtilage Divide, Kepler

Ghost: All right, Guardian. This has to be the House's power plant. There's a massive current moving through the capable around us, and… gravitons?

Lodi: My informant, Keelsk tells me that power is going straight into a warship.

Ghost: If we can get to a power plant's controls while it's charging their ship, we can send a lethal surge to it from here before it ever leaves port.

Lodi: Crafty, and it'll buy time to hunt down the strangelet capsule in the Accord.

Entering the ancient train to enter the time anomaly, the Guardian travels down the set of railcarts until they exit the anomaly and find themselves in a large cavern. Traversing through the cavern, the Guardian eventually finds the Eliksni settlement where they engage with forces of the House of Exile.

Lodi: If we stop the singularity from expanding, stabilize Kepler, maybe they'll stand down.

Drifter: Fat chance we talk a psycho like that off a ledge. He's a true believer in… whatever psychos believe in.

Ghost: They aren't leaving us many options. We need to reach the anomaly.

Triumphing over the adversaries in their way, the Guardian pushes further into the settlement.

The Archon: Deathless. Why have you come, hm? Glimpses are seen of your actions, but your motive — ever-shrouded. When my House found Sol — saw the Great Machine with your world, we left in defeated peace.

Finding a building with an entrance equipped with lasers, the Guardian acquires a Relocator launcher and fires this weapon at a teleporter inside on the side of a wall. This activates both a teleporter near the entrance and the teleporter on the wall.
Relocator accessible
Entering this portal, the Guardian is transported inside. Interacting with a terminal, the Guardian deactivates the laser barriers inside and disables the Relocator.
Relocator closed
With the laser barriers disabled, the Guardian departs through the exit and travels into another section of the House of Exile's settlement

Ghost: It looks like this station is actually drawing some form of power from these native cyto-colonies. So… the slimes are their generators?

Drifter: This whole place is wired like a rat's nest. It's worse than my ship!

The Guardian clears a House of Exile squad.

The Archon: The Deathless was foretold. See how they must kill as prophesized? Giver-sight warned me of this final test. Be resilient, my House!

Searching across this section of the cavern, the Guardian finds all of the entrances blocked by barriers.

Ghost: Guardian, patch me in to a console and I can override that barrier.

Interfacing with the console, the Guardian attempts to disables the barrier blocking a nearby exit only to be ambushed by Fallen combatants. Following the defeat of multiple Fallen foes, a House of Exile Splinter Mine is deployed in the vicinity.
House Exile Splinter Mine deployed!

Drifter: Look alive, hero! They're piping in splinter mines. Crazy sons of craps are gonna cause a damn cave-in!

The Guardian begins to defuse the Splinter Mine.

Ghost: You're on bomb defusal, Guardian.

The Guardian disables the Splinter Mine by standing in its vicinity.
House Exile Splinter Mine defused!

Lodi: Levaszk sure likes to talk — makes a show of us barging into his House. Maybe we pull his moxie out from under him and he lets some intel slide.

Drifter: Unless he sees that coming — all that prophecy talk. Back in my day you kill a fella fair, without knowing the future.

Lodi: You… think he's really clairvoyant?

An additional Splinter Mine materializes.
If the Splinter Mine is twenty seconds away from detonating.

Ghost: Not to alarm you, Guardian, but a mine is getting dangerously close to detonating.

Eliminating the incoming enemy forces, the Guardian defuses three additional Exile Splinter Mines and disables the barrier leading into the core facilities of the station. They enter into a nearby room containing a control panel.

Lodi: OK, Guardian, we need to find a way to overload that control panel.

Ghost: Once we do, the immense surge of current will wreck havoc on whatever warship the House is trying to power up.

Drifter: Probably why they a tried to blow us up. I'd guess they're trying to unplug. We should hustle up.

Attaining a Relocator, the Guardian activates a portal leading into a pod. Eneptering into the portal, they are transported into the pod where they interact with a source of Dark Matter to transform into Matterspark.

The Archon: Like vile Vex, the Deathless is violence-driven. They cannot be turned away by reasoned words — only blood!

Lodi: Mighty Archon! We hear your prophecy. The Deathless kneels before the Giver, with your blessing. Just open the way.

Drifter: We'll what now?

The Archon: I — this was not — oh, tricks! You conspire with metal invaders to keep us from the Giver! To trap-draw our House into folly!

While in their Matterspark form, the Guardian charges two Exile Pylons to overload the station. With the station's capacity overloaded, the Guardian is ambushed by incoming House of Exile forces and neutralizes the attackers, only to face a new threat as Devout Rezilisk, Ramshackle Arcmaster emerges along with Exile reinforcements.

The Archon: Most devout-Rezilisk, your work is done! Bring these walls down on the Deathless! Show your Archon true-faith. This world will slip into unknown spaces, as I have seen it. Exiles with it! Their death is fated — to be reborn!

Even as the tides turned against them, the Guardian defeats Rezilisk and the remaining enemy combatants.

Drifter: Well… What's your next plan, stand there with guns pointed at each other until someone gets cold feet?

Lodi: So the Archon didn't take the bait, but he mentioned "being kept from the Giver." Sounds like, despite their push to the singularity, something's still cutting them off from it. That means… we don't have to rush right in unless they make a move. Maybe's there's somewhere else we can apply pressure.

Drifter: Your a kid, kid. Those things been shootin' at you since you landed on this dump and you still haven't pulled your piece.

Lodi: That's right. Unlike you, I don't refer a gun to solve my problems when questions work just as well.

Ghost: Enough! We may have knocked out their power, but the Archon's still out there. We'll need to be ready when they make their next move.
