Season of the Wish is the 23rd and final Season of Destiny 2 as well as the fourth seasonal content of the Lightfall Annual Pass.
With their only means to reach the Witness is through a wish left by Savathûn, Queen Mara Sov and the Awoken conjures the spirit of Riven for their most dangerous bargain yet. Now as the remaining forces of the Witness converge upon the Dreaming City, Guardians must fulfill their deal to recover Riven’s missing clutch of uncorrupted eggs and ensure the survival of the Ahamkara race.

Story: A Dream of Dragons
- "The door to the Pale Heart remains locked. And in the wake of our endeavor with the Hive, an ancient mystery turns our gaze to the Dreaming City, to the last of the Ahamkara, and to the place of the Fifteenth Wish."

3-Player Matchmade Activity: Riven's Lair
- "At the brink of extinction, the only remaining eggs of the wish-granting Ahamkara lie deep beneath the Dreaming City. In exchange for our help in rescuing the last of her species, Riven promises to grant us a single wish."

Trivia[edit]
- After Season of the Wish, the seasonal expansion model will be replaced with a model referred to as "Episodes", starting with Echoes.
- With The Final Shape's delay to June 4, 2024, Season of the Wish is slated to be the longest season in Destiny 2, lasting 190 days from its launch on November 28, 2023. This record was previously held by Season of the Lost, which lasted 182 days.
