Seasonal Artifact Mods[edit]

Column 1[edit]

  • Anti-Barrier Sidearm: Your equipped Sidearms fire shield-piercing rounds and stun BarrierS.png Barrier Champions. Additionally, Sidearms are always overcharged when that modifier is active.
  • Unstoppable Hand Cannon: Aiming down the sights of a Hand Cannon for a short time loads a powerful explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. Strong against UnstoppableS.png Unstoppable Champions. Additionally, Hand Cannons are always overcharged when that modifier is active.
  • Unstoppable Bow: Holding a Bow fully drawn for a short time loads a powerful explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. Strong against BarrierS.png Unstoppable Champions. Additionally, Bows are always overcharged when that modifier is active.
  • Overload Auto Rifles: Sustained fire from Auto Rifles disrupts combatants, stunning them, delaying ability energy regeneration, and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against OverloadS.png Overload Champions. Additionally, Auto Rifles are always overcharged when that modifier is active.
  • Overload Pulse Rifle: Sustained fire from Pulse Rifles disrupts combatants, stunning them, delaying ability energy regeneration, and lowering combatant damage output. Strong against OverloadS.png Overload Champions. Additionally, Pulse Rifles are always overcharged when that modifier is active.

Column 2[edit]

  • Flame, Fiber, and Freeze: Combines the Solar/Strand and Solar/Stasis Siphon mods into one.
  • Kindling Trigger: Radiant causes Solar weapons to apply Scorch to unscorched combatants.
  • Blast Radius: Rapid final blows with Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers grant Armor Charge.
  • Origin Perk Specialization I: Improves the benefits provided by the Sundering, Nano-Munitions, and Nanotech Tracer Rocket Origin Traits. Additionally, weapons with these traits are always overcharged.
  • From Whence You Came: Increases ability damage to Taken and Scorn combatants.

Column 3[edit]

  • Flint Striker: Rapid Solar weapons precision hits and rapid Solar weapon final blows grant Radiant.
  • Torch: While radiant, deal increased weapon damage to combatants affected by Strand and Stasis debuffs.
  • Heart of the Flame: Casting your Solar Super grants nearby allies Radiant and increases the damage of your Super for each nearby ally.
  • Origin Perk Specialization II: Improves the benefits provided by the Noble Deeds, Unsated Hunger, Head Rush, and Dragon’s Vengeance Origin Traits. Additionally, weapons with these traits are always overcharged.
  • Wished Into Being: While your Super is nearly fully charged, ability final blows spawn Orbs of Power. Wearing Season of the Wish armor decreases Super amount threshold.

Column 4[edit]

  • Unravelling Orbs: Picking up an Orb of Power grants Strand weapons Unraveling Rounds.
  • Pillar of Ice: Killing an encased combatant spawns Stasis crystals.
  • Revitalizing Blast: Causing damage with a Solar ability weakens Champions and bosses for a short duration.
  • Overload Rocket Launchers: Rocket Launchers are especially effective against OverloadS.png Overload Champions.
  • Dragon’s Bite: Breaking a combatant’s shield with a Strand or Stasis weapon has a chance to suspend or freeze that combatant. Wearing Season of the Wish armor increases this chance.

Column 5[edit]

  • Horde Shuttle: Damaging unraveled targets with a weapon occasionally spawns a Threadling.
  • Hail The Storm: Shattering encased targets and Stasis crystals deals increased damage. Shattering a Stasis crystal releases shards of ice that damage and slow targets.
  • Rays of Precision: While radiant, Solar precision final blows cause combatants to ignite.
  • Solo Operative: While you are the only member of your fireteam, you deal increased damage to all combatants.
  • Argent Ordinance: Firing a Rocket Launcher consumes one stack of Armor Charge, granting increased damage and reload speed until you reload or stow your Rocket Launcher.

Lore[edit]

Awoken and Ahamkara magics mingle in the mist rising from this censer as it swings back and forth, back and forth…

[ Cryptarchy Access: -Guardian-] [Decrypting Engrammatic File Cipher…] [Archive//Accessed//Search: A:GH-030-912] [Report Displayed:]

This report is assembled from the collected journals and accounts of Lightbearer participants of the Great Hunt, in which the Ahamkara were purged from Sol.

Wishes: A verbally expressed desire expressed within audible range of any Ahamkara. This wish is granted through invocation of something known as the "Anthem Anatheme," which appears to be a manner of subjecting reality to one's will, similar to a Lightbearer's ability to affect paracausality. However, little is known about how this process unfolds in practice.

Henceforth, the "wisher" enters a binding contract with the Ahamkara, though many Ahamkara will purposefully manipulate or misinterpret the parameters of this contract to draw greater nourishment from it, often causing calamity to the wisher.

Lightbearers are expected to refrain from expressing wants or desires in the presence of an Ahamkara.

VERIFIED:

-Ahamkara bones somehow retain intelligence, sentience, and a manner of speech yet to be defined, post-mortem. It is surmised that an Ahamkara's corporeal body is not its true form, but a representation.
-Ahamkara feed by granting wishes. These beings possess an innate ability to alter reality and consume the quantum chaos that results from such an act. This is theorized to allow them to "transcend reality".
-Above information regarding altering reality supported by data confirming species-wide capability to shift form into a wide variety of living and inanimate structures.
-Wishes, while seemingly less potent and more difficult to initiate, are still able to be granted from Ahamkara bones.
-Ahamkara are not solitary creatures. Many adults patrol vast distances across Sol alone, but their territories overlap, and disputes are rare. While Ahamkara do not typically hunt in packs, there have been sightings of hunting pairs. In fact, they do not appear to prey on each other at all. In one report, a dozen Ahamkara on Venus had congregated at a nexus of their territories without conflict.

UNVERIFIED:

-Three reports from Old Russian claim Ahamkara wielded the Light. This has never been confirmed.
-Seven Ahamkara that evaded and slew their Lightbearer pursuers and are still unaccounted for. This report is believed to be an error in its totality.
