House of Exile |
Relocators are cannons invented by the House of Exile on Kepler for transportation across the planetoid's harsh terrain.
Availability[edit]
The Relocator is first obtained during the first step of the The Exile's Accord Strangelet quest line. Upon defeating Votary Nimis, House Exile Telemechanist and powering on the Relocator, it will now be available across all Relocator spawn locations. It's later upgraded to Relocator II in order to allow its projectiles to bounce off of Relocator satellites to teleport to formerly impossible angles.
Gameplay[edit]
Relocators work very similarly to Null Cannons, being a shoulder-mounted single fire Void Relic that explodes on impact. Though unlike the cannons, the shot from it cannot be stuck to a target and charged for a larger and more damaging blast. It also has unlimited ammo, but in exchange for doing noticeably less damage than a Scorch Cannon. They also cause the Volatile debuff on those they hit.
When fired at a receiver platform, the linked teleporter will emit a column of energy. Walking into this column will instantly teleport the user to the platform's location though will also destroy the Relocator if it is held while going through the teleporter. Once upgraded to the Relocator II, it now can bounce its projectile through Relocator satellites that change the angle of the shot in accordance to where its facing. These satellites can have their direction changed by damaging them with a non-Relocator source.
