Tangle Launchers are a type of support weapon employed by the Fallen.

Gameplay[edit]

The Tangle Launcher is wielded by Captains and used in support roles. Tangle Launchers fire a bola of Strand that functions like a Shackle Grenade, lightly damaging targets but also suspending them, making them vulnerable to the Captain's allies. If it misses, the bola will bounce once before disappearing. That said, this weapon has a low rate of fire, making the wielders dependable on their allies to deal real damage.

A Guardian-usable version was devised and modified by Eris Morn, named Strand-modified Launcher. It was used to suspend and break away the immunity of Strand-Hardened Behemoths. This variant deals considerably higher damage than its Fallen counterpart.^[1]
