Inoue was a professor of the AION Initiative who was among those who journeyed to Kepler. There, he would teach an art class as it helped to develop their observational skills. During one class, an alarm alerted them to the Collapse happening on Earth 1.7 lightyears away, and thus 1.7 years before they could have seen it.[1]
