The Eye in the Dark is a powerful Shrieker that escaped from the Prison of Elders and fled to Mars. It can only be found in the WANTED: Eye in the Dark bounty mission. It could been found either in the Ma'adim Subterrane or the Core Terminus.

Gameplay

First, the player has to kill Cursed Thralls called The Wormcursed, which, upon death, drops a green puddle. The player has to stand in this puddle until they receive the "Scent of the Worm" buff to awaken the Eye. When the fight begins, the Eye will open and start blasting the player and will summon Hive to protect itself. Every once in a while, the Shrieker will teleport to a different location. Once the player loses the "Scent of the Worm" buff, or the Eye has lost a third of its health, the Eye will close, and more Wormcursed Thralls will spawn. The process has to be repeated until it is destroyed.
