Gate Lords are massive Sol Divisive Minotaurs ranked by their namesake. They lead the Vex Invasions under the Vex Overlord in the attempt to root themselves into the Moon.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

Apart from having the massive Warp Gate overhead endlessly summoning reinforcements, Gate Lords behave like any Ultra class Minotaur. If they aren't killed quickly enough, they will retreat back into the Black Garden with their rewards. Once killed, the Gate Lord will drop a chest with a chance to drop Vex themed weapons and armor. When 3 units are killed quickly enough, an Overlord will appear to continue the work of its subordinates, which, on its own, can drop powerful gear.
