Acanthos, Gate Lord was a Vex Gate Lord encountered on Nessus. It is the first boss encountered in the mission Six.

Biography[edit]

Acanthos was encountered in the Glade of Echoes, combating the invading Fallen forces on Nessus and blocking the path to the Exodus Black. It was subsequently defeated by the Guardian, granting them access to the Exodus Black.

Gameplay[edit]

Acanthos will automatically be seen fighting the Fallen when entering the Glade of Echoes. It will already have taken damage, as seen by its health bar, and have inferably destroyed the Fallen Walkers as seen scattered throughout the surrounding area. When spotted, the player will be bombarded with Void blasts from Acanthos while being swarmed by both Fallen and Vex.
