Uorgotha, Scourge of the Deep is a massive Taken Ogre of Xivu Arath's Horde. It is characterized by its fleshy appearance, with pulsating tumors on its back, and its eye has been mostly gouged, leaving only its residual golden glow. It was employed in operations in Kraken Mare, where a Fireteam of Guardians eventually tracked it down and slew it alongside its troops.

Gameplay

Uorgotha is one of the rotating final bosses of Salvage. After its vanguard has been slain, the Ogre will be found kneeling under a crystal, protected by an immunity shield. Destroying the crystal will call forth hordes of Taken of many types and ranks, and Uorgotha will rise up and start attacking while standing still. After most of the reinforcements have been slain, Uorgotha's shield will disappear and it will start moving in a straight line, looking and firing at its closes opponent and slamming those that come close. During this time, it will be vulnerable to damage, however its weak spot is not the eye, but the pulsating sacs on its back. Players should also be careful about the damaging pools of Blight on the ground that the Ogre will pass through. After it has reached its destination, Uorgotha will raise its immunity shield again and summon more reinforcements, this time including Val Ca'uor, Bladebound to Xivu Arath. After the basic troops have been slain, Ca'uor will leave if still alive, and Uorgotha will drop its shield and start moving again, until it reaches another checkpoint. This will repeat until it is slain, at which point Val Ca'uor will return if still alive, or the activity will end.
