((GENESIS CHAIN~)) is auto rifle rewarded after completing an encounter in the Wrath of the Machine Raid. It is the adept version of the Legendary GENESIS CHAIN~ auto rifle, and comes with Solar burn. The perk tree is the same as found in this weapon's legendary counterpart. Like other SIVA Infused weapons, the perks can be changed over and over again.
Gameplay
This weapon is in the high-impact and low rate-of-fire archetype, similar to the Antipodal Hindsight and the SUROS Regime. The weapon fires very slow, but makes up for it by dealing upwards of 30 damage per headshot.
Trivia
- This weapon and its legendary version are the only auto rifles in Destiny that have the perk "Firefly", which triggers an explosion after a precision kill.
