Overview

"This is an advanced Golden Age technology tied to the death of some of the Light’s greatest champions. It’s currently being used as a tool of the Fallen to push the limits of bio-evolutionary realities. And you’re kit-bashing it together with projectile-based war systems to make a handheld mechanism that delivers aggressive nano-mites?"
"That’s one way to put it.
"
Ghost and Shiro-4

Summary

Outbreak Prime has the potential to be a highly versatile primary weapon in that it is capable of both killing multiple enemies with relative ease and dealing serious damage against bosses. The intrinsic perk procs every fourth burst, which also increases the damage of the actual burst on top of the SIVA nanite swarm homing in on its target, which stacks with the extra damage that Fallen take. If constant fire is laid down on an important target, then they should go down in record time. The exotic perk, on the other hand, while not always proccing, activates consistently enough to have an effect on gameplay. The SIVA nanite swarm achieved from getting a precision kill should be able take out at least one other enemy. The fast fire rate and good stability, provided you have selected both Smart Drift Control and Fitted Stock, will make scoring headshots much easier. The questline is long, but completing it will earn you one of the most powerful and versatile primary weapons in the game.
