The First Curse is an exotic Hand Cannon introduced in The Taken King.[1] It is the older sister of The Last Word. The original was lost, but the weapon was rebuilt with the help of Banshee-44 and the player in the quest Imprecation.

Gameplay

The weapon uses Dead Eye to grant range, stability, and movement speed bonuses when aiming down sights. Triple Tap returns a round into the magazine for three rapid, consecutive kills. The First Curse refills the magazine with the first precision kill of a fresh magazine, as well as increasing range, stability and movement speed further until the next reload.
