Incendiors are the Cabal's frontline pyrotechnic force on the field.[1]

Overview[edit]

Incendiors are flamethrower troops deployed by the Red Legion to incinerate both infantry and infrastructure. They carry Cabal Magma Launchers, which are fed via twin fuel tanks on their backs.

Gameplay[edit]

The Incendior will attempt to make a slow advance towards their opponents while continuously lobbing flame jets from their Magma Launchers. Guardians are advised to avoid being hit by the flame jets and the flames they leave behind, as they cause Solar damage and inflict a "Burning" debuff that can quickly eat through shields and health. If an opponent manages to get in close, the Incendior will fire a powerful compression blast that deals damage and causes substantial knockback. Incendiors wear reinforced helmets that are immune to critical damage, but this is nullified by the exposed fuel tanks on their back, which, if they receive enough damage they will ignite and detonate. This detonation kills the Incendior and inflict heavy damage to anything and everything nearby, which can be used to a Guardian's advantage, but as a result can also heavily damage a Guardian if nearby.

Due to the compression blast and the damage caused by a tank explosion, it is best to fight Incendiors from a distance.
