The Imperium Shotgun is a shotgun used by the Barant Imperium, utilized by its Legionary, Psion and Centurion troops. A variant is also used by the specialized Imperium Praetorians.

Overview[edit]

The Imperium Shotgun functions much like a Cabal Slug Shotgun, albeit the technology powering it is significantly more advanced. The Imperium Shotgun eschews the solid, ballistics-limited rounds of its Cabal counterpart in favor of being a direct-energy weapon, unleashing a wide rose of four long-traveling shots from its two barrels. The rifle comes in two sizes, for Psion and for Barant soldiers. Praetorians wield a variant with two small barrels in place of the lower ones, allowing the rifle to fire six shots per pull.
