Spinmetal is a material that can be found and collected by Guardians while exploring the Cosmodrome. Spinmetal occurs randomly in some areas in the form of Spinmetal leaves, which can be harvested by Guardians. Spinmetal may also be awarded to Guardians for completing a Daily Heroic Story Mission or Patrol bounty.

Twenty Spinmetal may be purchased from Roni 55-30 in the Tower Hangar in exchange for ten Legendary Marks.

Uses

Used to purchase weapon perks (mostly used for Arc-burn weapons).
Used to purchase Armour perks.
Used to upgrade reputation with factions

There is also an ammunition type called Spinmetal rounds, which are lighter and compact, allowing for a larger ammo reserve to be carried by Guardians.^[1]
