Weapon Parts

Weapon Parts are items required to upgrade weapons. Multiple weapon parts may be required to perform a single upgrade to a weapon. Parts are acquired by disassembling other weapons - usually Uncommon or better. ^[1] Weapon parts are also used to purchase weapon reforges from Banshee-44.

Weapons parts also returned in Destiny 2, but with the release of Beyond Light had all uses removed from them and no longer dropped from dismantled weapons. Though any parts players had stored in their Vaults were not removed, although they are now entirely useless.
