Imperial Centurions are a more powerful variant of the Centurion. In Destiny they are the common Major variant of its original counterpart and appear in numerous Cabal related activities. Visually, they are indistinguishable from their Minor counterparts, save for their yellow health bar.

Imperial Centurions appear again in Destiny 2 as a more powerful variant of the Loyalist Centurion appearing in the Leviathan Raid. They make an appearance during The Gauntlet encounter and during the Emperor Calus fight. They are distinguishable by their Blood Guard Centurion styled armor, albeit with Loyalist adornments and colors. They reappear in Season of the Haunted as High-Value Targets roaming the Derelict Leviathan, and in Sever missions in support of other Loyalists fighting in the Underbelly
