- "Slayer Baron of House Light: Stand against those who would cast us into ruin. Cut down all those who would destroy our House. Carve a future for the living from the bones of the dead."
- — Mithrax’s creed to the Guardian.
The House of Slayers, also known as the Order of Slayers, were an order of Eliksni Slayer Barons that existed on Riis before the Whirlwind. They were tasked with hunting and slaying various powerful and dangerous creatures that threatened the Eliksni, both on Riis itself and on its moons.[1] They were unaffiliated with any specific House or Kell, instead serving any of the Houses of Riis as needed.[2]
The Slayers were notable for their use of Tonics, special potions infused with Light that they used for various purposes. Known examples of Tonics include Brossk (a purgative), Liisok ("Stone-Eater" or "Rock-Destroyer") and Tenar ("Wrath").[3]
In the modern era, the Slayers have long been extinct, having been wiped out along with the rest of Eliksni civilization during the Whirlwind. However, Mithrax, Kell of Light has recently resurrected the title and bestowed it upon the Young Wolf, whom he entrusted with safeguarding the future of the Eliksni by defeating Fikrul, the Fanatic and his Revenant Scorn.

Trivia[edit]
- Out-of-universe, the Slayer Barons may be inspired by the Witchers of the eponymous game series and the novels they are based on; like the Slayer Barons, Witchers are monster-hunters for hire who heavily utilize potions to assist with their work.
