The Aphix Invasive is a Vex programming type that can be identified by their distinct red frames and the spiky protrusions on their heads.[1]
History
The Aphix Invasive reside in the Vault and have been spotted in the Freehold on Mars. They appear to be a security force, tasked with protecting Vex projects and Axis Mind's. When a fireteam led by the Guardian infiltrated the Vault of Glass, the Aphix Invasive would attempt to defend the stronghold. Despite their best efforts they failed, and the Vault's Axis Mind, Atheon, Time's Conflux would be destroyed. Later Qodron, Gate Lord and it's forces would launch an attack in the Prison of Elders, after foreseeing a glorious future which can be achieved by killing a “Light” (possibly a Guardian).
