The Chord Minotaurs are a variant of Minotaurs belonging to the Aphix Invasive and Sol Imminent, one Chord Minotaur from the Aphix Invasive can be encountered as a High-Value Vex target for a kill Patrol found in the N/Gen Branch of the Ishtar Academy. The patrol beacon can be found in the Ishtar Commons and only appears to those under Light-level 40. Those at Light-Level 40, the Chord Minotaur is replaced by a Major Axis Minotaur.

A Chord Minotaur from Sol Imminent can be found rarely in the Echo Chamber strike, where it has a chance to emerge from one of the Vex Gates that are open on the way to the Endless Steps. It spawns accompanied by Descendant Goblins.
