- "We must be prepared to do all that's necessary for our families. For humanity. I know I am. Are you?"
- — Helga Rasmussen
Helga Rasmussen was a scientist at the Clovis Bray corporation who became one of the founders of the Black Armory.
Biography[edit]
Helga worked as part of the Clovis Bray corporation at Eventide. She was involved in experiments involving the fusion of Exo limbs to humans,[1] and was potentially involved in the injection of Radiolaria into human test subjects.[2]
After leaving Eventide, Helga founded the Black Armory alongside Yuki Satou and Henriette Meyrin, to forge weapons in preparation to defend humanity against unknown threats outside of the System. Helga handled the business end of their operation.[3]
Helga and Yuki developed the first mobile Forge. As the company grew, the three founders began to come into conflict with one another as they began to loose control over the distribution of the weapons.[4] Yuki tried to act as the peacekeeper between Helga and Henriette, but they grew even further apart as Helga pushed to to combine their technology with Exos as part of Project Niobe.[5][6]
Helga and the other members of the Armory were woken by Yuki upon seeing the sky ablaze as the Black Fleet arrived.[7] Members of the Black Armory including the founders and Henriette's daughter, Adelaide, sealed themselves in a bunker to wait out the invasion.[8] Eventually a creature breached their bunker and killed members of the Armory, including Helga.[9]
