The Celebrants of Oryx are unique Knights who prepare the Hive for their leaders' arrival. One can been guarding Bunker RAS-2 in the Forgotten Shore along with two Hallowed Knights wielding Cleavers. There isn’t much uniqueness to them, only that they are extremely resilient making them somewhat difficult to take down.

  • A Celebrant is a person, especially a priest, who preforms a rite or ritual.
  • Vorlog had killed several Celebrants as a means of tributing Oryx.
  • The Celebrant of Oryx is the first mention of Oryx in the destiny franchise.
  • The Celebrant of Oryx is the first 'Celebrant' who has appeared in the Destiny franchise. The others being the High Celebrant of Xivu Arath and Azshradat, Celebrant of Xivu Arath.
  • The earliest the Celebrant of Oryx can be encountered is by curious players in the The Warmind Story mission. However they are most likely far too powerful to be damaged at this time, much less defeated.
