"You Thrall, each of you will claw and scream, and kill what you can. Take enough killing to feed your worm, and a little more to grow. Tithe the rest to the Acolyte who commands you."

Sprinting

Thralls are monsters who compose the most common class of the Hive, distinguished by their lack of eyes with the exception of The Sunless Cell Strike, long claws, and almost skeletal appearance[1] (though they do actually possess skin).[2] Feral and fearless, Thralls are a plague upon the battlefield. Their swarming, twisted frames are driven by unfettered rage, and of all the creatures of the Hive, they are the fastest.[3]

With their sharp claws as their primary tools of attack, Thralls move quickly and in large packs to overwhelm their enemies.[4]

Overview

"The shadows have claws."
Grimoire Description.

Thralls are born from pupae laid by fertile Wizards. Upon hatching, they are fed a larval Worm, which enters into a symbiotic relationship with the Thrall. If a Thrall is able to fight and survive well enough, it will become an Acolyte. [5]

Gameplay

While individually Thrall are the weakest Hive enemy, in large enough groups they can be deadly especially if they are supported by other Hive enemies with heavy weaponry. As with all Hive members, Thrall explode upon death, especially the Cursed Thrall.
