The Chantry of the Darkest Hour is a cavernous chamber deep within the Lunar Pyramid that overlooks a large void. The chantry served as the site of the battle between Empress Caiatl, the Guardian, and Emperor Calus before he became a Disciple of the Witness. In addition, it was the location in which Eris Morn discovered Nezarec's Glaive, which was gifted to him by another Disciple of the Witness, Rhulk.

- Based on the naming of the location, it can be assumed that this place was used as a place of worship for Nezarec’s followers.
- Chantry has two definitions, one of those being a placed, typically in private area or designated area of a parish or cathedral used for religious services and duties.
- Another name for Nezarec is The Darkest Hour, which is used in the lore tab for Nezarec's Sin [1].
