Molten Welders are Fallen-made rocket launchers.

Overview[edit]

Molten Welders are wielded over the shoulder, and their muzzle shows a distinct three-circle shape that makes them easy to tell apart from the similar Scorch Cannons. They are mostly used by Captains and stronger units of Dregs and Vandals. They function similarly to a Scorch Cannon, except that they lack the detonation trigger ability, and their projectiles travel faster and follow an arc. A hand portable variant exists, smaller but no less deadly.

Gameplay[edit]

Fallen who use Molten Welders tend to be less confrontational than other Fallen wielding different weapons, tending to stay back and using the Molten Welder's arching shots to attack from behind cover. However, Ultra Captains who wield this weapon rarely retreat, tending to stay in the middle of their squads.
