Blood of Oryx

"They are the shadow of an unknown master, harbingers of a power beyond anything we've faced."

The Blood of Oryx is a sect of the Hive. All Hive worship the dark god Oryx, the Taken King, but the Blood of Oryx act as his direct servants.^[1] They are found in the Skywatch on Earth, with many protecting Omnigul as she attempts to breed more Spawn of Crota to rebuild Crota's army. They are also the primary force aboard the Dreadnaught. They are identified by their purple coloring.

It appears that some Taken belongs to the Blood of Oryx.^{[citation needed]}
