Sardok, Eye of Oryx is a giant Hive Knight who protects the Shrine of Oryx. As soon as the Guardian breaches the shrine, Sardok is immediately called upon to protect it and draw the Guardian out, but he is eventually defeated, and the shrine is destroyed.
Gameplay
Sardok is far more aggressive than most Knights, using his bright eyes to disorient his opponents to charge in for a devastating fist of darkness strike. However, Sardok has a smaller amount of health and a weaker main weapon than other Ultras of his level. To best beat Sardok it is advised to use the pillars that raise up around the Shrine of Oryx during the fight as cover and to get the high ground over Sardok, making his shots harder to land and to weaken his fist of darkness. It's also best to not go for criticals against Sardok as his bright eyes can easily disorient anyone who looks at them. Instead, capitalize on his low health with weapons that do not need critical hits to deal massive damage such as rocket launchers, fusion rifles, shotguns, and Supers so looking at his head, and therefor eyes, is not needed and can kill Sardok before he calls in reinforcements.
Trivia
- Sardok is fully immune to all damage until the doors behind him are fully closed.
- Accursed Swordbearers bear a resemblance to Sardok.
- In one of Destiny's launch trailers, Sardok did not have a unique design. Instead looking like a Hidden Swarm Knight.
