Blistered Knights are a more powerful, Major variant of the Hive Knight. They were first introduced in The Witch Queen expansion as part of the Lucent Brood, featuring in Legendary Campaign Missions, as well as the PsiOps Battlegrounds activity. In Season of Plunder, the Major Hidden Swarm Knights that were encountered at the gate to Sorrow's Harbor in the A Mysterious Disturbance Mission were renamed to Blistered Knights. A Blisted Knight of Savathûn's Brood appears in the Destiny 2 version of the King's Fall Raid, at the end of the maze in Golgoroth's Cellar, and in the Dreaming City.

A pair of giant Major Blistered Knights appears in the Exotic Mission Oblation after the battle with Valus Tau'rig, attempting to impede the player from claiming the tablet of profane knowledge that would allow them to progress to the second part of the mission. As giant enemies, they are immune to Finishers.

Trivia

• It is unknown if it was intentional or a developer oversight for the Knights to be part of Savathûn's Brood.
