The Cabal Traveler Suppressor is a Cabal armature designed to capture the Traveler. It was key to Dominus Ghaul's assault on the City.[1]

Overview

The Cabal Traveler Suppressor is an enormous countermeasure device designed to capture the Traveler and siphon its emissions of Light for Cabal use. When active, it unfolds six prongs and attaches itself to the Traveler.[2] After some time, it then extends bands around the Traveler and encloses it within a force field that cuts off its emissions of Light, cutting Guardians off from their powers and debilitating Ghosts.[3] Once this is accomplished, the Suppressor begins to enclose the Traveler in a black "cage", a process that takes several days to complete, but which allows its Light to be extracted and controlled.
