A Primus is the commander of a Cabal Legion, or a high ranking commander within one. According to Cayde-6 this is the equivalent of an "admiral".[1]
Overview
Primuses often are Colossi or Centurions, but are bigger and more powerful than normal Cabal troops,[2] and their loss would cause disorder within a Legion. If a Primus dies, or is rendered unfit, the Cabal Empire will send a replacement via fresh fleets or troops.
Within the echelon of Primus' an Evocate General can be appointed which serves as a Primus of All Legions, acting as the supreme commander to the Cabal Military under only the present Emperor or Dominus.
