Dreaming City, The Reef

Encountered:

A year after the Red War

The Scorn are a rogue House of Fallen pirates that have recently orchestrated a massive breakout from the Prison of Elders. They are mutant-like Fallen abominations that make use of technology from other species for their own use.[1]

Overview

The Scorn are the most drastically warped House of Fallen ever seen in the Solar System. They look and act completely different from their other brethren, even wielding technologies from enemy species to benefit themselves. Many of the Scorn demonstrate melee-focused abilities, and some are seemingly mutated - with one unit in particular nearly being the size of a Hive Ogre.[1]

Appearance

The Scorn can be distinguished by their dark gunmetal colored, chain-adorned armor, and drastic physical differences from other Fallen. Many of them are unnaturally large in stature, and they seem to favor the use of fire-based weaponry.[1]

Structure

The Scorn do not have the structure of traditional Fallen houses and seem to have abandoned traditional Fallen ways entirely. Scorn pirates make use of enemy technologies, and many of them have docked lower arms. They are not quite a Fallen House in the traditional sense.

History

Prison Break

A year after the Red War, the Scorn took advantage of the Reef's disheveled state, and broke out en-masse from the Prison of Elders. After the escape, they fled into the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City, behind the leadership of their eight commanding Barons. [1]

Trivia

  • The Scorn are technically not an established Fallen House, but are considered as such due to their Baron leadership.
