Ritualists of Xivu Arath are powerful Hive Wizards employed by Xivu Arath, God of War for a number of rituals.

Gameplay[edit]

Ruins of Wrath[edit]

A Ritualist of Xivu Arath was first encountered in the Shattered Realm: Ruins of Wrath mission.^[1] It was an Elite subordinate to An Xohol, Jaws of Xivu Arath. When An Xohol's health bar reached a certain threshold, a Ritualist would spawn nearby to provide the Knight with an immunity shield. Killing the Ritualist released a well of Wrathful energy that allowed players standing within to damage and break An Xohol's shield and then finish it off.

Salvage[edit]

Ritualists of Xivu Arath would later be employed by the God of War to halt Vanguard Salvage operations on Titan. They appear as part of the Hive variant of the "Ordnance Disposal" encounter, where they must be slain to repel the Hive.^[2]
