Lurkers are a shield-bearing Scorn unit that uses a gladiatorial shield to block incoming damage for themselves and their allies, and Scorn Pistols to attack from afar.

  • The Lurker is the third enemy type to wield a shield in battle. The first being the Cabal Phalanx and the second being the Hive Vanquisher.
    • However, unlike the Vanquisher's shield, the Lurker's does not shatter.
