The Light-Eater Ogre is a Taken Ogre that appears as a unique enemy in the King's Fall Raid on Normal Mode, alongside with Light-Eater Knights on Hard. There are four unique such, and when killed leave behind a blight that must be detonated after Oryx is staggered to prevent him from regaining health.

Trivia

Uniquely, unlike other Taken Hive, these Ogres do Void damage with their Eye Blast instead of Arc. ^{[citation needed]}
Light-Eater Ogres are the only Taken Ogres, beside Baxx, Hand of Oryx, that has a red body part of some sort.
