Heavy Slug Thrower

Template:Weapon Infobox This devastating squad support weapon is capable of completely halting enemy advances with a hail of microrockets. It performs so well that it has undergone very little enhancement or modification since its introduction. The Cabal's Colossus heavy infantry units wield them to devastating effect.

In Guardian parlance, these weapons deal Solar damage.^[1]

Trivia

Uniquely, the Heavy Slug Thrower is one of only two weapons in Destiny (including the Hive Cleaver) that is utilized by a single enemy type, the Cabal Colossus. Even amongst the Taken only one enemy ever wields the weapon, the Taken Colossus Primus Ta'aun.
