Extractor Captains are powerful Captains of the houses of Dusk and Salvation that appear during Glimmer Extraction Public Events.[1][2]
Gameplay[edit]
To encounter Extractor Captains, players need to join a Glimmer Extraction public event and battle through waves of Fallen reinforcements attempting to extract Glimmer from underground.
After defeating them, the Extraction Crew will deploy their Captain in the 3 out of 4 step. The Extractor Captain will spawn with additional reinforcements and can differ in weapon use such as Shrapnel Launcher, Shock Rifle and Shock Blades. They also have high durability and have Arc Absorption shields. Depending on the weapon they use, their gameplay can differ. A Shrapnel Captain is aggressive, while a Rifle Captain is evasive and the Blade Captain is close combat.
Weaponry with Arc damage is effective is breaking through their shields, while heavy weaponry can help defeat the Captains.
