- Ether tanks destroyed
- X of 20
- Find the Weapon
- Steal the Weapon
- Escape the Fallen City
Transcript[edit]
(Mission begins)
- Ghost: Drifter sent instructions for infiltrating the city. He said he couldn't be on radio — some "top secret" business with Eris and the Stranger. He asked me to fill in for him, but he doesn't think I'll be able to "sell it." …He's wrong.
- Ghost (As Drifter): All right. My notes say we got Ether tanks all over this rooftop — the exploding kind. Use 'em to get those guards before they get us. Brother.
- The Guardian destroys twenty Ether tanks.
- Ghost (As Drifter) Nice job with those fireworks. Let's keep movin'.
- Ghost: I can't believe he thought I couldn't do this.
- The Guardian makes their way outside of Riis-Reborn and heads to find the weapon.
- Ghost (As Drifter): So… a Stasis-wieldin' gun. Wonder what Moondust and the Stranger would think of that.
- Ghost: Actually, that’s a good question. Do you think Drifter even told them about this?
- Ghost (As Drifter): Too late now, I guess.
- Riis-Reborn Approach, Europa
- Ghost (As Drifter): The Fallen have this gun on lockdown. Max security. Stay on your toes. You don't get as old as me by bein' sloppy.
- Ghost: No, no, too wordy…
- Ghost (As Drifter): Don’t get sloppy.
- Ghost: Better.
- The Guardian approaches the area of Riis-Reborn Approach that holds the Crux of Darkness.
- Ghost (As Drifter): Keep one hand on your gun, kid.
- The Guardian navigates through multiple electrical gates and Fallen Trip Mines. They reach the room with the Crux of Darkness, finding the weapon at its base contained within a projected shield.
- Ghost (As Drifter): There's the gun. I got access codes to take down that shield. Let me do my magic, brother.
- The Guardian sends out their Ghost to hack into two of the Fallen devices powering the shield.
- Ghost (As Drifter): One more. Keep pushin'.
- The Guardian sends their Ghost to hack into the last device, which deactivates the shield.
- Ghost (As Drifter): Shield's down. Nab that gun, brother.
- The Guardian steals Salvation's Grip. Salvation Servitors, Shanks and Brigs almost immediately swarm into the room.
- Ghost: Ah — we tripped an alarm! We gotta, uh —
- Ghost (As Drifter): — Hightail it outta here —
- Ghost: Ugh, I need to focus! let’s get out of here, Guardian.
- The Guardian rushes out of Riis-Reborn to escape, evading Salvation forces.
- The Spider: Hello, old friend. The Drifter said you might need a hand. My associates will arrive shortly. There's a little… roadblock up ahead.
- The Guardian makes it out of Riis-Reborn, only for a barrier to project around the area and multiple Brigs drop in.
- Ghost: Of course…
- The Guardian begins attacking Defiled Servitors to disable shields protecting mote devices sustaining the large barrier. Eventually, the Spider offers assistance to the Guardian, sending in his Associates, Servitors and a Walker to fight the Salvation forces.
- After taking out the smaller Brigs, a large Fallen Commodore drops into battle.
- Ghost: Another Brig. That thing must be controlling the shield.
- The Guardian and the Spider's forces destroy the Commodore, which disables the shield.
- Ghost: All right, we're clear. Uh… thanks for the help, Spider.
- The Spider: Oh, it was nothing. I've heard a little of your exploits with this new power… "Stasis." Consider this a reminder: you have friends on the Shore. Don't be a "stranger," Guardian.
- Ghost: Not to dwell on this, but… my Drifter impression was pretty good, huh? Listen…
- Ghost (As Drifter): "Hive! Bring a sword."
- Ghost: See? Heh. Watch out, Drifter. There's a new Drifter in town.

Trivia[edit]
- The reason for the Ghost doing an impression of the Drifter rather than having the Drifter act was due to scheduling conflicts with Drifter's VA, due to the then-ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
