Steps[edit]
1. Gathering Intel[edit]
The Drifter has asked you to gather Fallen weapons intel while he inspects the blueprints you found. That might lead to more information about the Stasis weapon prototype.
Defeat Fallen Captains and Servitors on Europa to collect intel.
- Servitors: 10
- Fallen Captains: 10
- "I've picked up a few Fallen weapons in my time. Pretty impressive what they can do with some spare parts and grit."
- — The Drifter
Transcript[edit]
The Drifter examines the blueprints you found. Turns out that the Fallen are using Praksis's armor tech to create a weapon capable of channeling Stasis energy. Eramis had plans to distribute this weaponry to Fallen all across the system, expanding the capabilities of her army.
Drifter likes the idea so much that he immediately cooks up a plan to steal the prototype from the Fallen. He thinks Spider's associates might be able to offer some insider information too. While he looks over the blueprints and calls in a favor, he asks you to go to Europa and gather more intel on the prototype.
- The Drifter: Putting Stasis into a Grenade Launcher, huh? Heh. Wish I’d thought of that. Listen, I think the Fallen have bitten off a little more than they can chew here. What do you say we take this thing off their hands? See if you can find intel on where they’re keeping the prototype. In the meantime, I’m gonna call in a favor from the Shore…
2. Locating the Prototype[edit]
You found some briefs that indicate the Stasis weapon effort is being led by a high-ranking Fallen lieutenant. Taking the lieutenant down could gain you more information about the gun's whereabouts.
Defeat one of Eramis's council members in an Empire Hunt.
Requires completion of the Reclaiming Europa, Empire's Fall and The Dark Priestess quests. Visit Variks in Charon's Crossing to purchase Empire Hunts quests.
- Empire Hunt
- "Looks like there are some cracks in the empire now that Eramis is out. We can use that."
- — The Drifter
3. Stasis Practice[edit]
You discovered intel that suggests the Stasis weapon is being held in the Fallen city. Drifter's going to find you a way in. In the meantime, practicing with Stasis will be good preparation for learning to use this experimental gun.
Eliminate combatants with, or affected by, your Stasis abilities.
- Stasis-afflicted enemies: 100
- "Spider's got eyes all over this system. What do you wanna bet he has an inside man on Europa?"
- — The Drifter
4. Lost Sector Rendezvous[edit]
Drifter contacts you to let you know Spider's sending an associate to meet with you. She has some tech that will disguise your ship to appear on radar as a Skiff, letting you sneak into a back area of the city. She's waiting for you in a Lost Sector.
Rendezvous with Spider's associate in the Concealed Void Lost Sector.
- Skiff codes acquired
- "Got a friend waiting for you in a Lost Sector. Might have to fight your way in first."
- — The Drifter
5. Rendezvous with Drifter[edit]
With your new Skiff codes in hand, you're nearly ready to go after the Stasis weapon. First, Drifter wants to meet with you to give you a critical weapon component.
Visit the Drifter in the Annex.
- Drifter visited
- "I got one more piece of the puzzle to give you. Then we're ready to pull this thing off."
- — The Drifter
Transcript[edit]
Drifter flashes a crooked smile as you walk up. "Nice work, hotshot," he says. "You're almost ready to go grab that gun."
"According to those blueprints, the one thing the Fallen haven't worked out yet is how to stabilize the Stasis energy. So I whipped up a prototype of my own." He winks. "This should help you get the gun firing."
Return to Europa and complete the "Stealing Stasis" mission.
6. Stealing Stasis[edit]
You're ready to go after the Stasis weapon prototype. You've got all the tools you need to break in. All that's left to do is get the gun.
Complete the "Stealing Stasis" mission.
- Mission completed
- "I've got some… business to take care of. But I'll send your Ghost some notes on the area. How to get in and out real quick, no trouble."
- — The Drifter
7. Rendezvous with Drifter[edit]
You successfully acquired the Stasis weapon from the Fallen. Drifter wants to take a look at it.
Visit Drifter in the Annex.
- Drifter visited
- "Let's see what the Fallen managed to cook up."
- — The Drifter
Transcript[edit]
Drifter is impressed. He admires the gun and asks you to bring it through Gambit sometime. This weapon could really shake things up.
- The Drifter: Let me have a look at that thing. I like that rough-around-the-edges look that Fallen tech has. Reminds me of the Dark Age. Smash together some bits and pieces, and pray to no one that it works. You could tear up the field in Gambit with this. Lay some traps. Catch some Taken. Bring it through sometime, all right? I wanna see what you can do when you're packin' Darkness.
