The Concealed Void is a Lost Sector in the Rathmore Chaos on Europa, and is located underneath the Asterion Abyss. It is a series of Vex tunnels and Radiolaria pools that was constructed close to an old Bray Exoscience lab. These tunnels are have been raided by an army of Fallen. Leading the group is Teliks, House Salvation, a large and opposing Captain that is the boss of the Lost Sector.
Gameplay[edit]
When the player reaches the start of the Concealed Void, they will be met with a series of close quarter engagements with several forces of the House of Salvation. All of the Fallen must be eliminated for a shield to lower. The following area is a larger part of the cave with several small elevated platforms over a lake of Radiolaria. Once again, the player must defeat all combatants, and avoid falling, in order deactivate another shield. The tunnels ahead will have several Wretchs ambush the player, followed by a pit the player must jump over. This pit and the path ahead contain a large gathering of Exploder Shanks waiting to meet the player face to face as they simultaneously avoid sniper fire from Vandals. After the Chaos, the player will find the boss room featuring Vex structures in the middle, and the remnants of an old laboratory. Dispatching the Fallen here will allow Teliks to spawn. They behave like most other Ultra Captains, and will have many reinforcement's throughout the fight to overwhelm the player. The Boss itself is quite powerful and may prove a challenge to some players. When the fight is finally over and the boss is slain, the chest will be made available to open.
With the Monument of Triumph update, a red Distortion cluster ball can be found at the beginning of the area. Shooting it will make the enemies stronger, and increase the loot earned from the activity.
Trivia[edit]
- Concealed Void is the only Lost Sector on Europa to feature a Distortion ball.
- Whilst progressing the quest Born in Darkness Part 3, The door in the boss room will open, and the player can encounter The Exo Stranger, and Ana Bray.
- If an enemy falls into the Radiolaria, they will very quickly be teleported back to one of the elevated levels, rather then staying stuck there until death.
- The Player can see the boss room very early into the Lost Sector, however they can not enter through the back, and the boss does not spawn until they progress the area normally.
- The player can glitch outside of the playable space in two areas.
- One is by climbing through the open hole in the center of the boss room. It may help to use Stasis ability's or Salvation's Grip.
- The other is by locating the small opening in the wall at the base of the Radiolaria pool in the second room.
- Once the chest is opened, the large shield will lower allowing players to leave, even if there are still a few enemies left alive.
