Acolytes are the main attack force of the Hive. They use Shredders and Boomer in combat. They utilize firearms and strategy to counter their enemy, coordinating with other Hive to destroy their targets. Unlike the lesser Thralls who act with little sense of self-preservation, Acolytes actively utilize cover to avoid incoming fire from enemies.

Gameplay

An Acolyte will generally lose to a Fallen Vandal, depending on opposing levels. On rare occasions, Acolytes will be armed with a Boomer instead of a Shredder. They are generally nothing to worry about, however, because they spend most of their time in combat hiding behind cover and are easily killed.
