IMPORTANT: Some of my words may be repulsive to you, in which case I can respect that. But whatever you do, just because I use those words, doesn't mean that you should go and actively report me. I only use those words on my personal pages; I wouldn't even dare to use them on official wikia pages, because that would be irresponsible of me. On the other hand, if you can take it, that's good. I just want to make sure that you take careful note of this habit of mine, because it'll never go away.

Hi, I'm Primus Draug'oth! Now, I know what you're thinking, "OMG IT'S A COLOSSUS! RUN!" Well, no need to worry. I've sided with the Guardians to help them reclaim lost territory. Why? Because one: going to war all the time takes some energy out of my system (although my belligerent instincts will kick in when I get angry), and two: I'm so far the only Cabal to actually have sympathy for humanity. That's right; I've seen what you guys have lost and it truly makes me feel sorry for you. In fact, I'm sorry for all the Guardians I've killed since then: I hope you accept my apology. But let's not get depressing, okay? Because I have an interesting backstory that you might want to hear. So sit tight, it's going to be one hell of a ride. Here we go: this is my story.

Little did you guys know: I was commander of the Siege Dancers before Valus Ta'aurc was. I led an attack on The Wall, but I was stopped by Lord Saladman. He had a point, though. |
- "This Primus has a long history of fighting. It runs deep in his nature like it does with all Cabal. But this one is foul-mouthed, which doesn't suit my personal taste. Mix that with his particularly violent temperament and he becomes something that I would suggest you avoid entirely. But he appears to show some consideration for humanity, which alone makes me want to listen to his backstory and let him join our ranks."

Chapter 1: Aspirations
- "My boy, you must realize that this is no ordinary education system. You are about to learn the art of war at only age five. The standard is that all Cabal soldiers apply for military conditioning at age eight, and with good reason. If this is what you want, then I will sign you up when you have given me your approval."
- — Primus Tru'url on young me's decision to enter military conditioning
It all started when I was just 5 years old. My father, Primus Tru'url was strong-willed and strict, yet caring and thoughtful, and he was part of the Cabal High Command. I aspired to become as strong as him one day, and he told me, "Very well, son. I will have to make this very clear, though. You are about to go through intensive training early in your life. Are you sure you would like to participate?" And I said, "Daddy, I insist. I wanna be in the elites, like you!" And my father answered, "Then I will sign you up for military training. Who knows? You might even see your uncle along the way." "Thank you, Daddy!" And so began my first day of school. But I was too young to actually learn to fight, my dad told me. I was a bit disappointed, but whatever. My dad then gave me a pat on the back and said goodbye as he left for work. Now, school for the Cabal was a whole lot different than what you humans do. You see, we only learn about war, because we are, by nature, a warmongering species that will seek to overcome any challenge thrown our way. Also, we never go home until the end of the year. Instead, school offers us our own little rooms where we rest. The only time we leave is when it's time to go to class, which there are four of: equipment (physical education), tactics (study and observation), weapons (target practice), and technology (engineering). I was always in top shape, but I wasn't exactly a genius, as you're about to find out. It's my first day after all. All I got was a curriculum schedule for each class followed by an assembly led by our principal, Primus Ro'alg. He said that this school is what lays the foundation for future soldiers like me to become part of the greatest military force in the universe. After the assembly, we went to our rooms, but I stayed up later than everyone else because I was thinking whether or not I had made the right move. I was sure that I did, but I was beginning to have doubts. Whatever, there's no going back.
Chapter 2: Initiation
- "Wait, so you're telling me you failed that project? You are so strong, so determined, yet you can't even hack a poorly defended computer or look in all directions? *laughs* You're joking! You've got to be kidding me! You can't invest all your focus into simply firepower and strength. There's no way you'll get into the army if you don't know how to program or keep track of enemy movement."
- — Primus Tru'url poking fun at young me's failure to pass in both tactics and technology courses
Then came the next day, and I was in for a real surprise, let me tell you! We actually start our classes that day! I mean, I was only 5 years old! It's like, "Give me a break!" Well, at least they started out simple. Now, the first class of the day was physical education. We didn't play sports or do exercises. Instead, there was equipment we would use to increase our physical strength. This was so we could wear heavy armor and other related equipment that we had to practice moving around in. I picked up relatively quickly. My father was part of the Cabal High Command, and he gave me some advice before I went off on my own. He told me to allow all of my limbs to "think" independently when I put on that armor or it will weigh me down. I easily moved around in it. I could even run! But then the coach told me that I was all good and got me to stop. Come on, man! Just give me a few more minutes! I'll run an obstacle course! But then another student shoved me to the side and did exactly what I did, but better. The reactions of the other students were mixed. On the one hand, they were impressed by his performance, but they didn't appreciate the fact that he shoved me, and neither did I! The coach saw it, too, and he told the student that he would be assigned solitary confinement during lunch. The next class was a weapons course, or target practice if you will. Because we were only starting out, we had to practice with Slug Rifles, as they form the staple of the Cabal military. Projection Rifles and Heavy Slug Throwers were reserved for the elites. My dad gave me a Slug Rifle for when I go to war, but he never gave me any tips on how to use the damn thing. Ah well, what could I do? Anyway, this target practice didn't only test my aim, but also my reflexes and situational awareness. I found myself shooting dummies down left and right without missing. "How was I doing so good?!", I thought to myself. I've never been taught to use it. I guess I was born with an advantage, I dunno. Now, as good as I was in the armor and weapons department, I had little concern for tactics. I always prefer to charge headlong into battle like a speeding freight train and knock my enemies down. Although I had high situational awareness, fast reflexes, and brute strength, I wasn't really that smart. And let's not forget that I screwed up my first technology project. Everyone made fun of me for that, even my own father.
Chapter 3: Preparation
- "That is how it's done, my boy! See how far you get when you listen to everything you're told in class by your instructors? Very far, I know. What matters now is that you keep up the good work in school."
- — Primus Tru'url upon noticing that I have been making significant improvements
Years passed, and I slowly but surely improved in tactics and technology. It took me a long time, but when I finally hit 13, I was able to program my first handmade landmine! I then took it out into the cold desert sands of Mars with my tech professor and father watching as it was about to blow up, and you know what? It exploded! They were both very proud of me, with my prof going as far as to say, "Why didn't you show me this hidden intellect of yours?" And I said, "Because I didn't know I had it!" My father laughed and said, "Well, you see, son. You not only need to be able to think on your feet, but also up in your head." "Why didn't you tell me so, dad?" "Because I already knew you were smart, my boy. I just wanted to make sure you agreed." And then I noticed my tactics professor coming towards and asked me to show my father just how much I've improved. A group of well-programmed AI targets advanced on my position with the press of a button, but I was ready. I read their movements and then opened fire. I did it! I wiped them all out without a scratch. They all surrounded me and showed me appreciation. But my first real test was about to arrive soon, for we were ambushed by the Vex. We were all prepared, though. I took out my Slug Rifle and pounded them with suppressive fire. I killed one wave, but then a Minotaur showed and I ran for cover. My father and professors covered me while I found another attack position using jump jets that were built-in with my armor set. We overwhelmed them and they retreated. Well, that was a close one, cuz I could've died! "What the hell was that?!", I shouted. My father then told me that the Cabal were in constant conflict with the Vex, specifically with a programming known as the Virgo Prohibition, which were among the most aggressive and dangerous Vex units known to Cabal-kind. I then learned that we were up against a powerful enemy that I had to face when I go to war. I was not ready yet. I had a few more years before I could join the ranks of the army.
Chapter 4: Desparation
- "I haven't seen him since graduation. He's a good friend. Dependable, relatable, and he knows how to hold his own. But when I saw him in the hospital, I wondered what'd happened to him. Draug'oth, he told me, had a run-in with some Minotaurs and Hydras down in Freehold Station. Hydra blasted him in the face real bad. He's gonna remember this for years, despite brain damage."
- — Rul'urg on noticing my injuries in the hospital
As I continued to improve in school, I was eventually granted an Elite Honors' Award by my principal during an assembly on the last day of school in my life. My principal went as far to say that I was an exemplary student that represents everything a skilled soldier should be: fierce, unflinching, intelligent, strong. It was from this day forth that I knew that I would be drawn into the ranks of the Cabal military, and eventually, the High Command. But little did I know that as much as war unifies us all under one cause, it can separate and leave cracks in even the strongest social bonds, like that of my father and I. He told me that he was heading off to war with the Vex in the Black Garden. I asked if I will ever see him again, and he replied, "Only fate will tell, son." "But, Dad, fate's a bi--" "Now, my boy. You must promise me you can fend for yourself while I am away." "I...yes, I promise." "Good. Farewell." He hugged me and then left. A few years passed as I frantically sought how to stay alive without my dad around. I didn't know what to do. I had to fend for myself both at home and out in the wild. I always took my Slug Rifle with me in case I was attacked by enemies. It was a rough environment out in the cold desert sands of Mars. Constantly being assaulted by Vex on all sides, all the while having to hunt for fresh meat to sustain myself for as long as possible. I went after big game animals because despite their danger level, they made for a good delicacy for us Cabal, and they kept us full for several months. I fought on, being the man that I am at heart. But at 16, I sustained a scarring injury in an encounter with a group of Vex Minotaurs and Hydras as I ventured deep into the tunnels of Freehold. Actually, now that I think about it, I regret going in there; I guess I was desperate, I dunno. Anyway, upon sight, they blasted me into oblivion. My heavy armor suit was malfunctioning, and before I knew it, I was knocked unconscious in the head by a Hydra's death blast! My skull was fractured and the radiation from the blast entered my brain and poisoned it. I couldn't do jack shit, because I almost died! However, my friend from school, Rul'urg, took me into an emergency room, where I laid dormant for the next 2 years. When I woke up, I was completely rejuvenated! I was unaware that my friend was there, waiting for me. We hadn't seen each other for a long time, and so I was curious about his whereabouts. He told me that he got an invitation to the army, and so did I. But there was one thing that him and I alike knew: if we entered the army, that meant war. Now, there's DEFINITELY no such thing as turning back.
Chapter 5: Reunion
- "Man, have I not seen my nephew and his friend in a long time! I was starting to miss him when I moved him to his father's place, realizing that he could actually do something. Tru'url's a strict guy, and it had a bad influence on Draug'oth until he started making improvements. Tru'url told me his son's ready for the art of war, and so I said, "Let 'im at it!" And now, he's a dedicated Siege Dancer."
- — Primus Thru'ul on seeing me again
Rul'urg was the only one I could rely on at this time. There was simply none like him. He led me to the nearest military base of the legion we got invited to. Since him and I did so well in school, it made all the more sense that we got invited into the elite forward detachment of the Cabal: the Siege Dancers. As a Siege Dancer, it was my duty to conquer newly found territory and set up fortifications there so that no one can take it. But there's a risk: although I was joining the elites, I was also part of the first soldiers to be deployed on the battlefield. That was a risk I was willing to take. As my friend and I entered the base, we saw a group of other recruits lined up side by side, in front on a member of the Cabal High Command: my uncle, Primus Thru'ul. He greeted my friend and I with a warm welcome to the Siege Dancers, and asked if we would stand in line with the others so he could tell us what we were in for, "What does it mean to be a Siege Dancer? Only being tasked with the most daring prospect any Cabal soldier has attempted the feats of: to push into unclaimed territory and conquering it without mercy, ensuring the opposition has no chance of retaliating against us, and setting up fortifications there, which we guard with prejudice. It means...that we have been privileged with the most important duties of any Cabal soldier. It means...that we form both the hammer and the wall of the army. It means...that amongst the Cabal...we...are the ELITES! The lot of you have been selected for your bravery, your determination, your ferocity, and for that, the Cabal High Command appreciates your service. Now, we must do what a Siege Dancer would do, and take what we see fit to be ours! Do you read?!" "Yes, sir!", we all exclaimed. A Harvester dropped down outside the base waiting to pick us up and deliver us to our first destination: Valley of the Kings. We were tasked with opening the gate to The Black Garden. We were dropped off in front off a huge Vex gate, and we were all awe-struck. "Behold the gate to the Black Garden.", my uncle began. "It is one of the most mysterious encryptions known to Cabal-kind. You think you're up to the task, nephew? Will you be able to get us into the Black Garden?" "I'm up for anything, uncle.", I replied. "That's the Draug'oth I want to hear!" We knew something was coming, so I tightly grabbed my Slug Rifle and attached a bayonet to its muzzle, as well as a miniature revolver attachment to the barrel for increase the fire rate and a 2x magnification scope for extra accuracy. A few seconds later, a cloud of dark purple mist with an electrical orb in the center appeared out of thin air right in front of the gate. That's how I know the Vex would arrive, specifically the Virgo Prohibition. They knew we were going to launch an invasion, so they launched a counterattack. Lucky for us, though, out defense lines had already been set up. Turrets scattered around the field. Phalanx shields forming inpenetrable walls that would refuse to go down. They only started out by deploying Goblins and Hobgoblins, but I knew this wasn't all. I've seen their Minotaurs and Hydras, and I've yet to see their Cyclopses. My first major conflict has started. Here I go...into mastering the art of war...
Chapter 6: The Art of War
- "Those scumbags got what they deserved, because think about it. Why are they called the Vex? Because they like angering their foes to death, testing their patience to see how long they can stand their tricks. I heard they even work as one hivemind. Okay, that's creepy. They all have the same thoughts and goals, yet they have different strategies. How does the Vex Collective Mind even work like that? And...why? Just, just...WHAT?!"
- — Me on the Vex and my victory over them while thinking about how they work
This battle was a hectic one. I mean, I was still only a Legionary, but I had special privileges. I was able to move towards any line and set up landmines and turrets to further fortify our defenses, although I mainly spent my time on the top floor providing fierce, yet brief periods of overwatch and suppressive fire, because I had to penetrate all the layers of the Vex Gate using the given encryptions. "Well, better get hacking!", I said aloud to myself as I watched the battlefield. I tried to enter special codes, and for a few minutes, it seemed as if it was working, and in fact, I penetrated the cognition mesh, but then my programming was interrupted by Vex interference. They used a special radiation field that shut down the encryption. The mission was an automatic fail; there was no way around the interference, so I had no choice but to reinforce the defensive lines. I grabbed my Slug Rifle and rushed into the fray using my jet packs, and fired as I landed. My uncle asked me what happened, and I told him, "They're using some sort of radiation as an interference to interrupt my hacking! I can't cut through it!" "No matter! What matters now is defending the base!" Just as he finished saying that, a group of Vex Minotaurs entered the field and started to advance. "Ah, come on! Seriously?!", I shouted as I ran for cover. "Well, here goes nothing", I thought to myself, prepping my rifle. I saw that none of the Vex had detonated my landmines, and so I decided to shoot them whenever a group of Goblins stepped too close to them. The massive blast radius took them right out. The others, not so much. I tried shooting a Hobgoblin every once in a while, only to find out that they put up an invincible shield for a few seconds before I could shoot them again. Such pussies, I know. Those shields, I reckoned, could even withstand the landmine detonations, and as it turned out, I was right, so I didn't bother with them. Minotaurs and Hydras are a whole other story. The 'taurs teleported away from the landmines and the Hydras just shot them down before making a move. The Minotaurs were especially dangerous, as they could not only pound me to death with their Torch Hammers as well as teleport like a spastic, but their chassis also comes built-in with an absorption shield for extra defense. Theirs was Void, my weapon dealt Solar damage. I speculated if their shield represented which element they were resistant to, so I fired some shots at one, but it didn't flinch...and it was running straight for me. Great. Now I had a huge problem, because the Vex, being the appropriately-named scumbags that they are, brought in their heavy artillery: the Cyclops. They were these big T-shaped constructs capable of launching devastating mortar fire. Three of them were on the field. If there's one thing that my school never taught me to clean up: it's the big guys. I first wanted to see if I could get close. Using my jump jets, I quickly maneuvered across the landscape and gained access to the enemy position. I planted a landmine onto each of the Cyclopes and when I got back to cover, I detonated them and the Cyclops were punched into a state of confusion, spraying and praying, accidentally killing all the other Vex, even themselves! Then the gate closed. The mission was a fail, but the defense, for the most part, was a success.
Chapter 7: Ascension
- "So, you penetrated the cognition mesh?"
"Yeah, but I wasn't able to get past the other layers. They had some sort of radiation field as an interference."
"You know what this means. The Vex are getting stronger. As they gain control over time, they may choose to wipe us all out of existence."
"What the..."
"But I think you are in a good enough position to start getting in there yourself."" - — Thru'ul and I on the defense the Vex put up, while also considering me moving up the ranks
My uncle loved me, that's for sure. But because he REALLY loved me and I did so well in battle, I got promoted! I became a Centurion, capable of leading my own squads without direct assistance from my superiors. It felt awesome, but I didn't celebrate, because I had another important mission coming soon. I had been selected to reinforce defenses set up at the Scablands by fellow Siege Dancers, as they were under attack by the Vex. Rul'urg decided to come with me, because, ya know, we're best buddies. He told me, "Hey, I got promoted too." "Tell me about it." "I'm a Phalanx." "That's not so much of a promotion, man." "Oh, come on. It kind of is!" "Yeah? Well, it's nothing compared to what I am now!" "Heh, that's true." Just as we left the base, I picked a Cabal Shield along with my Slug Rifle, though there was something extra attached to it: an under-slung Projection Rifle! That's awesome! It still feels easy to carry with one hand despite all that was added to it. Rul'urg then said, "You notice what I did to your gun?" "Yep, I appreciate it." "Well, you're gonna need it for extra firepower." "Yeah. What, did you get a bigger gun?" He showed me his Projection Rifle and told me he was all set. I, along with my crew of 16 Legionaries, 12 Phalanxes, 14 Psions, and 2 other Centurions went aboard the Harvester waiting outside, and it flew off. Now me? I was an Imperial Centurion. I had special training for stuff like this, thanks to my dad and uncle being members of the Cabal High Command. I started to give orders, "Okay, as we land, we're going to have to take part in trench warfare because...that's the defenses they have. Set up whatever you have: traps, landmines, turrets, anything. All we need to do is push them back." We landed, then dropped down and scattered for our own little positions in the field. We could only peek out and take potshots every once in a while because the Vex decided to send in their Cyclopses. Remember those things? Cuz I sure as hell do! So, they were firing off their Void mortar shells, and they were taking a huge toll on our base. I climbed on a ledge and started firing at them with Solar grenades from the under-slung Projection Rifle on my gun. I noticed they were doing a lot more damage, but it appears the Vex have learned some new tricks. The Cyclops were actually being protected by some sort of machine they were using to pull us through time. If I shut down the machines, we won't be pulled through time and we can destroy the Cyclops. I then rallied my troops and gave them the following orders, "Alright, listen up! You see those Cyclopses over there? They're being protected by machines that are being used to pull us through time. We shut those down, we can take out their heavy artillery and win the day. But it's not going to be that easy. We need heavier artillery and breaching charges. Anyone have such equipment? Because it would be crucial if they were placed down." A Legionary placed down a turret, and a couple of Phalanxes, including Rul'urg, hurled breaching charges at the enemy's spawn point. "Keep it up!", I shouted. Then, I ran in and went after the machines that powering the time vacuum. Of course, they were defended by Praetorians and Hydras. But I knew how to handle them. They don't have jump jets. I DO. Problem solved. After killing off the guards, I went after the machines and blasted them apart. This sent the Cyclopses into a berserker rage, rapidly firing explosive Void bolts in all directions. I ordered my crew to open fire on them from their trenches, while also warning them to take cover when the enemy fire got too close for comfort. This cycle repeated for a half hour until eventually, we destroyed all the Cyclopses, shutting down the vacuum and driving back the Vex. We went inside the base shortly afterwards, and what do you know? I got promoted again! Twice in a row! Not only was I promoted to a Colossus, which meant I got my own Heavy Slug Thrower, but I also became the Primus of the Siege Dancers. My uncle passed down the position to me when he figured I turned the tide of battle without his help. I then got up in front of the legion, and gave a speech about how I was honored to take up this position. As the individual in power, I would decide the course of actions for this detachment. Guess where I was headed next. That's right, humans. The place you call home. The place you consider your last stronghold. Your very own planet Earth...
Chapter 8: Invasion
- "Brothers...I believe we are finally ready to set our sights on another planet in the Solar System. We have been planning this campaign of destruction for a long time. We have our sights set on Earth, specifically The Last City, known by those puny humans as the last safe space their Traveler can protect with its Light. If we can crack that open, we can bring humanity to its knees. Brothers, rally your weapons, your might, and together, we will grind their city to dust!""
- — Me rallying my forces to get ready to conquer Earth
This was it. The moment I had been preparing for all this time. As Primus of the Siege Dancers, I had to take over what I saw fit. But I also could appoint positions and ranks to anyone who I noticed had outstanding performance in battle. Rul'urg was my Valus, my second-in-command, as he had been a faithful companion to me. I rallied my forces and told them what they were in for this time around. This was new territory; I've never been to Earth before, but I have heard reports of Guardians assaulting Cabal strongholds on Mars. Previous reports have told me that each Guardian has an expensive arsenal of weapons and abilities to play around with: three guns (primary, secondary, and heavy), a grenade and melee ability, and a Super ability. They would be armed to the teeth, but at the same time, they were mere humans, meaning that they easily could've been taken out, and I had all the firepower necessary to do so. As we went on board our Harvester, I warned my forces of all the reports other Cabal have been sending to the High Command about the Guardians. They remain something of a mystery to them, but I know it all. Of course, Earth was its own planet, so it took us days to get there, but when we finally got there, we couldn't help but stare at the huge wall right in front of us. Humanity was smart to try and surround their city with such a defense, but with enough concentrated firepower, I can crack through it. I told my forces to set up any combat electronics they had, especially breaching charges, because they were what would break the wall down. Rul'urg went on ahead and placed his directly on it, but at the same time, I detected someone on the upper level looking down at us and so I took out my rifle and fired a projection grenade upward at their position. "Oh, shit", I thought to myself. This. Meant. WAR. Jumpships swarmed into the field and dropped off their Guardians to lead the mass defensive. I ordered my troops to open fire! One thing I never noticed is that the Light inside of them gave them untold strength, abilities I had never seen before. They were also uniquely organized, more so than I thought. Titans serve as the heavy infantry squadron, setting up massive Void energy domes, smashing groups of combatants using Arc shockwaves, and raining heavy artillery using explosive Solar hammers; Hunters serve as the scouts and rangers, gunning down opponents from afar using flaming Solar pistols, assassinating foes up close using knives infused with Arc energy, and keeping foes in place using Void arrows; Warlocks serve as supportive mages who can bend reality, launching massive spheres of Void energy, enhancing their abilities using rays of Solar light, and electrocuting foes with surges of Arc power. These made for a powerful force. I fought them off at best as I could. Several hours in, the Guardians had suffered casualties of around 60%, while I only lost around half as much. Guardians started retreating. "Blast it open!", I shouted. The breaching charges on the Wall detonated one by one, which had actually put a huge grin on my face. But a few moments later, my grin turned to an expression of shock when I saw only the most badass of Guardians step in: the Iron Lords. They would be able to turn the tide. Led by a man who I like to call Lord Saladman, they were the most powerful warriors of Light to ever exist. Saladman told my forces to surrender, but I refused. "Very well, then", he said. He then began to take out what I can only assume is a battleaxe and charged headlong into my forces. With the Guardians reassured, they started to make a comeback. We were surrounded, but I continued to stand my ground. I noticed that they started pushing forward very rapidly, continuously using their Super abilities. Why would they do this? Another day later, the dust had finally settled. Him and I were the only ones left standing. Everyone else was on the floor, either too wounded to get back up or lying dead on the ground and showing no more signs of life, including my friend Rul'urg. I mourned his death the moment I saw his head taken off by a sword-wielding Titan during battle yesterday. Saladman and I were looking at each other dead in the eye, face-to-face. "You must be lost, Primus." I realized what he meant; I began to have a mental affliction between what I had been tasked to do and my understanding of why humanity was trying to defend their stronghold. Humanity was desperate. Without their Traveler, they would never be able to make a comeback. I know that I was told to take it out, but shortly afterwards, I realized that they were just as desperate as me. Both humans and Cabal are cornered to one world each, and are trying their very damnedest to reclaim as much territory as possible. And that's when I finally gave in. I realized that although I was trying to advance my race forward, what I ended up doing was morally wrong. "I am indeed lost.", I told him. He found it strange that I knew his language, but saw it as an opportunity for him to try and reason with me. Right before he was about to say something, though, New Monarchy forces arrested me under their Executor's name. Their Executor, named Alex, immediately sentenced me to solitary confinement. Saladman tried to make negotiations with him, but the Executor wouldn't listen. He saw me as an immediate threat. I may have been at the time, but I assure him I have learned from my mistakes.
Chapter 9: Imprisonment
- "A lost Primus, seeking conflict-resolution, only to be arrested on the spot without warning by a cruel Executor from New Monarchy. What to do? Maybe it's not only the Primus that needs to see the Light, maybe it's also the executor...""
- — Lord Saladman considering who needs to be shown the Light
Solitary confinement is supposed to last a century for enemies of The Last City. That's what I've been sentenced to. There was no letting me out for a long time. The Executor was not only the leader of New Monarchy, but he was also the warden of the prison funded by Future War Cult. He kept close watch of me. I noticed that my weapons had been stripped from my armor and locked behind a super-secure vault that required multiple passcodes, and had reinforced walls. I was contained in a prison cell in the shape of a cube, 20 ft x 20 ft x 20 ft; definitely large enough for something my size. There was nothing there to keep myself occupied; just a big empty room. I must've been really dangerous. And the Executor was a cruel man. He frequently made his prisoners fight in a gladiator-style arena for his own amusement, his guards tasered us with 100,000 volts of Arc energy, fed us poisonous food, and even interrogated us for no reason. For example during the 5th year of my prison term, Alex called me in and started bombarding me with questions mentioning things I've never heard of before. One such question he asked me was, "Why did you go on the Moon and face the Hive unauthorized?" I told him, "The Hive? What?" And then he suckered punched me in the eye! I had to answer another question, "What did the Fallen contain the last time you visited their hideout?" And I said, "The Fallen have nothing to do with me, and I don't have anything to do with them!" He slashed my forehead with a pocket knife! I immediately left. For over 20 more years I've had to put up with it, until finally, I lost it. I went into a berserker rage and nearly destroyed my prison cell. I broke down the door, tore the vault to pieces, grabbed my weapons, and rushed out. The guards had to launch tranquilizer/poison darts at me, but my armor was too thick. Too bad for them. I then confronted the Executor. "Get back in your cell, you wild animal!", he ordered me. "You fucking scum! You tortured me for 25 years, so I think it's fit that I try to actually end you on the spot!" I then proceeded to punch him repeatedly all over his body until he nearly died, when I noticed a puff of Darkness come out of his head. Then I stopped. Executor Alex looked at me with a weak look on his face and said, "I'm completely aware of your records, Primus. You were a threat at the time, but I knew you were seeking compromise. And yes, I was a cruel man. You were right about me. Now finally free from Darkness, I can finally live life as a normal man once again. Thank you..."; but those were his last words. Saladman then entered the prison and saw the dead Executor right next to me. Out of the blue, he said, "Alex was always a suspicious Executor to all of us. Showing hints of corruption, many prisoners rose against him. You finally put an end to his reign. What corrupted him?" "Darkness." "Then I think it's time I show you something." We then left the prison. It was time I get my new mindset out to humanity. For once, they would hopefully understand me. I know their pain and suffering, and wish to make it better."
Chapter 10: A New Meaning
- "Suddenly, I feel this sudden change inside of me, in both my mind and abilities. It's like I'm getting pumped full of power I've never felt before. But I can quickly adapt, as I've been looking for a way to calm down and tune my taste for destruction significantly lower than it was previously. I ought to feel a lot more relaxed and comfortable. I know it'll make me feel a lot better.""
- — What I was thinking when Light was coursing through me
My life was about to change completely. No longer was I an engine of war born to take whatever I see fit. I will become more sensible as an individual. As I was presented a Spark of Light by the Traveler, it entered my body and completely transformed my will and strength. Once viewed as a degenerate, inconsiderate brute, I was now highly respected amongst the Sunbreaker Titan order. They showed me how to activate my "inner flames", if I had any. They meant my vehement mannerism, which I still had plenty of. I've always had a strong mind, but now it's a different kind of strong: it reached a heroic status. All the other Guardians, though, were still skeptical of me. They just had to hear me out; I had to show them that I've made a huge change, particularly one for the better. In front of the Traveler itself, I gave a speech to a large crowd of Guardians with the following main idea in mind, "It doesn't matter where you come from. The Light is a potent utility, one that can easily turn tides every where. Guardians, it is my pleasure to begin my alliance with all of you, to work closely with you to reclaim all you have lost. This was a mindset that I have recently adopted, and it tells me that my previous course of action was morally wrong. But that's not who I am anymore, thankfully. I didn't know what change I wanted, but this is the change that ended up winning me over, and I feel a lot more comfortable that I used to. And now, I hereby begin joining the forces of humanity, and returning to a time when you were much more powerful." I then took up the position as one of the forerunners in humanity's military forces, leading numerous offensives against their enemies and becoming one of the fiercest defenders of The Last City ever since. And most importantly, thank you, Guardians, for showing me the Light...
Ta-Da! (And Burritos)
And that's how I got here. I've managed to stack up a whole bunch of burritos next to me as I edit these pages, because my metabolism works in weird ways. Anyway, I suggest you get these beef burritos; they're really good. They come in real handy whenever I'm looking through this wiki. Well, now that you where I come from, you might as well get to know me more.

This Cabal and I like to go to the shooting range whenever we can I just wish he weren't so easily pissed off, though."
- — Cayde-6
As one of the fiercest defenders of The Last City, and an elite commander amongst the Titans, it's appropriate that I'd be all the more powerful as a combatant. I retain my prior arsenal, and exposure to the Light has added to that. They have trusted me enough for me to be this powerful. But, of course, there are those that fear my temperament, especially the Vanguard. That's only in the heat of battle, though, and I'm feared for what I CAN do, not for what I'm ABOUT to do. I might as well tell you about how I fight:
Weapons (Destiny 1)
- Heavy Slug Thrower: This is my main weapon, my Heavy Slug Thrower. This particular model fires at 3000 RPM and is built to fire high-caliber micro-rockets. Enemies struck with sustained fire from them will be stunlocked and shoved backwards into a position where they cannot escape. This means I can essentially keep enemies pinned against a wall or corner and have my allies finish them off.
- Cabal Shield: You must be familiar with those invulnerable shields that the Phalanx Cabal unit uses. I have one of those, but it's much bigger to accommodate to my bulk, so it protects me from the front entirely, and it can even deflect enemy projectiles, as well as perform that shield bash that the Phalanx does, but the difference is that my shield lunge range is a lot further than you might think. The point is, I can walk forward while blocking attacks and only have to worry about getting flanked from behind thanks to this shield.
- Modified Scorch Cannon: During my adventures in the Wolf Rebellion, I got a Scorch Cannon from a Reef Chest. It was enhanced the weapon with a hotter and bigger "furnace" to give the weapon incendiary properties, so that it creates large spots of fire upon detonation. I pair my shield with this cannon so I can not only absorb enemy attacks, but also chuck everything I have right back out at them.
Abilities (Destiny 1)
- Hammer of Sol: Remember, I'm a Sunbreaker. When sorely pressed, I will resort to throwing explosive Solar hammers that can clear out entire hordes of enemies. Not much more needs to be said other than, "It's HAMMER TIME!"
- Quake Punch: Despite my heavy reliance on weapons and abilities, my physical bulk gives me immense strength, especially with my punches. My punches can break down enemy structures faster than any other Titan would, but then it wouldn't be a fair comparison, given that they're humans and I'm a Cabal, so there's a huge gap right there.
- Solar Overshield: My armor was incredibly thick already, being able to cushion enemy attacks similar to a vending machine. But with Light coursing through my veins, I have been given an extra defense: a Solar overshield. This stacks with my armor to make me even more of a walking tank than I was previously. This oughta reduce my chances of dying.
Events of Crota's Invasion
Goals
- Get ready to defend The Last City against the invasion from Crota, Son of Oryx and her wife Omnigul, Will of Crota.
- Take down all important Hive targets running loose in the Cosmodrome to secure the area and lock it down with reinforcements.
What Happened
I joined the Tower after the Black Heart died, so my only job was to patrol the Cosmodrome and run around killing any enemies I see. If I noticed anything extraordinary, I was to report it to the Vanguard. Now, at first, it seemed like a typical day on patrol: we had the House of Devils appearing all over the place, and occasionally saw some Hive to mow down in the morning. However, when I got to the Skywatch, I noticed a Seeder Ship emitting a green toxic liquid that eroded its surroundings. Tons of Thrall were coming out of it, and they were all headed for me. I fended them all off and decided to push on into the Seeder until after seeing that they were loads of Acolytes, Wizards, and Knights flooding the area. It was at this moment that I retreated all the way back to the city. Commander Zavala asked me to report what I've seen, "I came across a Seeder Ship at the Skywatch and there were tons of Hive coming out of it. First the Thrall, then Acolytes, and the Wizards and Knights! There was too much for me alone to fend off." "Cayde. Show the Primus the way to Eris Morn." "Wait, why me?", said Cayde with a very confused look on his face. "Ok, here we go. Follow me, Primus." Cayde and I went down a long hallway and stopped in front of an eerie-looking woman holding a crystal. "Primus, as much as I hate to say this, this is Eris Morn. She's our expert matter on the Hive. Got any questions, ask her, but chances are she's going to ramble on and on, so don't do that." Eris turned to Cayde, gave him an annoyed look and said, "That's because you never listen to me." Then she turned to me and said, "At any rate, Crota and his army are preparing a massive invasion on Earth. But before we can destroy Crota himself, we must destroy his most trusted lieutenants: Sardon, Fist of Crota and Omnigul, Will of Crota. Sardon resides in The Grottos, where he commands his master's armies through a fist of Darkness. You must push in and see to his end. Omnigul, meanwhile, erratically travels from one place to another, constantly monitoring the progress of the battle. You must corner her in the Jovian Complex and silence her screams." I look at her confused and say to her, "What's in it for me?" "You will have my thanks." "Is that really all?" "Yes. I do not have anything for you at the moment, nor do I plan to." "What a fucking downer." And then I stormed out. I went back to the Cosmodrome in search of the two targets I've been assigned to kill. I decided to go after Sardon first because he was just hanging around in one place. When I got to the Grottos, no one was there. There was a 30-second pause before anything happened. Suddenly, Darkness was coursing through my veins. I've been poisoned; my abilities of Light had been shut down; I was weighed to the ground; there was a green haze in my field of view. I didn't know where it was coming from until I saw a Knight appear from out of nowhere. I knew it had to be Sardon. He charged at me with a Cleaver in hand and I rushed at him ready to land a bone-cracking punch. I missed, and he quickly slashed me in the stomach. I ran off into a little cave where he couldn't reach me. I thought he was only deadly up close. But he sent in a wave of Thrall to flush me out and covered them with a series of Arc shockwaves by slamming his sword on the ground. These shockwaves traveled across the floor for a very long distance. They got to me and I felt the Thrall jumping on me. After stomping on them and recovering from the attack, I ran around and behind him. He knew I was coming from behind him so he did a backward slash but I caught his sword when he was doing so. I broke his sword in half and punched him on the spot, killing him instantly. And suddenly the burden of Darkness was removed. I felt much better. Then I looked for Omnigul. I've chased after her so many times until I finally caught her in the Jovian Complex raising an army. I pulled out my Heavy Slug Thrower and started firing away, while also pounding her with my Hammer of Sol. She kept teleporting away and sending in reinforcements, but I outlasted them all. Eventually, there was nowhere for Omnigul to go, so I punched her to death. I thought I was ready to take on Crota, but the creepy lady told me that I had to banish his soul first. If his soul had been successfully woken, he would enter the material world from his Ascendant Realm and start wreaking havoc on us...for some reason. Anyway, down to the Chamber of Night I went. And what did I see? A whole squadron of Cursed Thrall coming towards me. I shot them with my Slug Rifle and they all exploded! As weird as that was, I found Crota's most zealous guards on the way to his soul thing: Hallowed Knights and Hallowed Wizards galore. I kept cutting through them until I came across some Wakers of Crota, who were of course waking Crota's soul. Only when I killed the Wakers could I banish Crota's soul from the material realm. As Crota's soul rose from the ground, it unleashed total hell. It was spinning violently in the air, so it was hard for me to get a clear shot on it. What could I do? Oh right! When precision is hard to achieve, just fire as many bullets as possible! It's Heavy Slug Thrower time! It took a lot of bullets to destroy the soul. How many will Crota himself take? I found out as soon as I entered his realm: none. Because only his shield could be shot down, not himself. I would need a sword from the Swordbearer downstairs. So I "asked" him if I could use the sword to kill Crota, and after it fell out of his hands, I took out my Slug Rifle to shoot down his shield, and ran at him with the sword, cutting him to bits. But he quickly got back up and summoned his Oversoul which I shot at with the underslung grenade launcher of my rifle. And because the Oversoul was a distraction, this gave Crota the opportunity to slash me in the stomach and zap me to death. And because I couldn't regenerate my shield, I was severely weakened, but I still had my strength. As long as I had the sword, I could kill him. Unluckily for him, his Oversoul went down, and I got back to wasting him. As he knelt once more, I landed the killing blow. Then all of a sudden, the lady from earlier came out and told me that I have given her the gift of vengeance or something like that. I told her that I will never work for her again, but she said, "Our work is never done, Primus. Not as long as the Darkness plagues humanity."
Outcome
- So my work with Eris will never stop, but at least I stopped a potential full-scale Hive invasion.
- Someone else will probably continue his work, though, right? Because the Hive has a pantheon of gods.
- Also, because my work with Eris will never stop, I will always have something to be unsettled about.
- So, really, this was mostly a waste of time and I could've let any other Guardian do the job.
- Besides, I usually feel pretty lazy, so I could just lay back and eat some burritos.
Events of the Wolf Rebellion
Goals
- Seek out trust with the Awoken and their queen Mara Sov in The Reef.
- Break the Fallen leadership by killing Skolas, the Legitimately Insane.
What Happened
I'ma say this right off the bat: I don't like the Awoken. I don't like their way of doing things; I don't like their ties to the Fallen; I just flat out don't trust them. Regardless, I got a distress signal from The Reef and reluctantly decided to investigate. When I got there, I found the throne room in ashes. A majority of the Royal Awoken Guard in the area lay dead, and Queen Mara Sov lying down on her throne completely in shock. I walked up to her and asked her what was wrong. She told me, "I have been betrayed. The Fallen that I once controlled have been rallied under their newly freed Kell, Skolas. After having escaped from the Prison of Elders, he plans to unite all Fallen Houses and bring them together to plunder both The Reef and The Last City." "Well, I've killed tons of Fallen before. Doesn't seem too difficult to me." "You do not understand, Primus. These specific Fallen overthrowing their captors is no small feat. They are unlike any breed of Fallen you have dealt with on Earth, the Moon, or Venus. Speaking of Venus, that's where I hear they are currently settled. Go there, and let the hunt begin." She then called, "Petra!" Petra then came and said, "I know what I've been called for. I will not stop until it is done. Those Fallen will pay. Might I ask who this Cabal is standing next to me?" "He's the only Cabal affiliated with the Last City: Primus Draug'oth." She then looked up at me nervously, "Oh, well...hi." "Hello...Petra. What is this Fallen threat your Queen speaks of?" "They rally under the Wolf Banner; I don't think you've heard of this. Well, come with me and we'll set you up for this counter-rebellion." And off the two of us went. She attached a comm device to my armor and connected it with hers. I then took my Harvester and flew to Venus. Petra then came on the comms and we had a conversation about Skolas' whereabouts. She told me that after trying to conquer several Fallen houses, he failed. As I went up the Vex spire at The Citadel, I saw him in the remote distance. She sent in support to help me get across the great chasm. Then after the chasm, I slowly walker up to Skolas, who noticed me. He turned around, and looked at me dead in the eye. I took out my Heavy Slug Thrower and opened fire. He kept teleporting around me and fired his Shrapnel Launcher in my face. I was bleeding, and was losing vision. But after watching him teleport several times back to back, I finally grabbed him by the threat, and kept bashing his head into the wall, making him stunned. I picked up my gun again and shot him several times in his chest. He was lying crippled on the floor. A series of red rings appeared around him. They were coming from a tractor beam being fired by the Queen's flagship, where she sent her transmission as he picked him up and sent him to the Prison of Elders. And then, that's where I went. Because I hated him that much. Don't ask. As I went into the Prison, I met up with a Fallen named Variks. He was the warden. "A Cabal champion, I presume, yes? Name is Variks. Yours?" "Primus Draug'oth." "Primus, welcome to the Prison. Clear out enemies, impress your warden, and be rewarded treasure down below. And eventually, meet up with Skolas and end him for good." "I thought I killed him." "Killed him, you not. Only severely wounded. However, traces of Ether have been bringing him back. When you get the chance. Kill. Him. Dead." "I accept." "Good...but you must prove yourself. Prove to me you are worthy." So I went down below and cleared out some hostiles for several hours, and finally Variks approved, "You have won. Grab treasure and prepare yourself for the final fight, yes?" And then, I saw it, a big chest at the end revealing a Scorch Cannon for me to use. I then went back in the arena to challenge Skolas again. I decided to use it against him and it worked wonders. He had a cannon of his own, and he even tried to poison me, but I was big enough to live through it. The poison was too weak for me. Eventually, I blasted him into oblivion, and at last, he was dead. Goodbye, Skolas the Legitimately Insane!
Outcome
- I beat Skolas with his own medicine.
- And so I went on my merry way to...guess what.
- Eat more burritos! With a side of fishsticks!
Events of the Taken War
Goals
- Tell Oryx to shut up about his son.
- Get the Hive to understand that their Sword Logic means nothing.
What Happened
Eris came back. Goddamnit, not her. She even had a creepy smile on her face. "Primus. Guess what. We get to continue our work." "NO! I am NOT working with you ever again!" And so I did nothing to stop what was coming next. I got reports of something called the Taken who were corrupted Fallen and Hive and Vex and Cabal all at once. I do not want to hear to any more of Eris' expositions. Call me lazy, but count me out!
Outcome
- I didn't listen to Eris again.
Events of the SIVA Crisis
Goals
- Stop the Devil Splicers from doing something, I don't know.
What Happened
Yeah, I skipped this one, too. I wasn't given any warning. Next!
Outcome
- More burritos and fishsticks for me!
