Voltaic Guards are a unique variant of the Fallen Captain found in the Scavenger's Den, where they guard the shields preventing further exploration of the Lost Sector.^[1] They also make an appearance in the European Dead Zone Adventure Poor Reception, where they must be killed in order to locate the source of the signal interference.^[2] An Elite version belonging to Kell's Scourge is encountered in Scavenger's Den during the Scourge of the Armory Mission, serving the same purpose as they did in the Lost Sector.^[3]
