Unstable War Beasts differ from their standard Red Legion [[War Beast|counterpart]] by their heavier, silver-colored armor and higher durability. Like standard War Beasts, they are feral, vicious attack animals deployed as either shock troops, a distraction, or as cannon fodder to protect their other forces. They are quick, highly aggressive, and very tenacious, stopping at nothing until either they or their enemies are dead. Unlike [[Honored War Beast]]s, Unstable War Beasts drop volatile fuel cells upon Death.

Unstable War Beasts are a class of War Beasts from the Red Legion to safeguard the operations of the Imperial Cabal.

They are often found in Battlegrounds and more powerful Elite variants of War Beasts who carry an Unstable Power Charge.

Gameplay[edit]

Unstable War Beasts are distinguishable by their silver-colored armour. They will usually spawn into a Battleground if players fail to throw an Unstable Power Charge, dropped by an Unstable Incendior, onto the correct targets.

They are summoned into the arena through Drop Pods and will roam around the area. Unlike most War Beasts, the Unstable variant is passive in gameplay and will only attack if players get too close to it. They are highly durable and evasive, and will compensate their lack of ranged attack through close combat. They will relentlessly attack players with their teeth and claws.
