[[Description:]]
==Overview==
Goblins are have a humanoid limb structure, with two arms and two legs. Their cranium is quite unusual in appearance, however, being disk-like with a singular eye in the lowest end of the head. The skin colour and texture of the Goblin is brass in appearance, and the sounds emitted by the foes are audibly similar to that of the squawking of birds.

==Gameplay==
Goblins, much like the "Thrall", serve as a cannon fodder for their respective races. While Thrall are a melee-based enemy, however, Goblins are armed with low-level projectile weaponry, and do not charge their enemies unless they have gone "berserk". Goblins attack in swarms upwards of six, averaging around groups of ten and usually serve as a frontal diversion for a stronger, flanking opponent such as a Cyclops or a pair of Harpies.

[[Berserk Trait:]]
With most enemies, a headshot will deal a killing blow, or at the very least a critical hit. On a Goblin, however, a headshot will cause the Goblin's cranium to explode and for the Goblin to go "berserk". The body of the Goblin charges at it's foe with visual electricity coursing across it's body, and will attempt to melee the adversary.

The Goblin is the basic unit within the Vex Collective.[1]

Overview

Goblins usually attack in swarms[2] and emit unusual, bird-like squawks upon finding an enemy, taking damage, or dying.[3] As with all members of the Vex collective, Goblins share a single mind. This allows them to coordinate their swarming assaults on Guardians.[4] They also carry weapons called Slap Rifles which bear resemblance to energy terminals and serve a wide variety of construction purposes as well as combat.[5]

Gameplay

Goblins are a cannon-fodder type enemy, meaning they can be dispatched with little effort. They attack in large numbers and often serve as a frontal diversion for a stronger Vex unit such as a Cyclops, Minotaur, or even a Hydra. They attack from a distance with low-level projectile weaponry and do not charge their enemies. They move slowly and do not take cover, but can teleport short distances. When their heads are shot off, they go "berserk", shooting faster while charging at their foe, with visible electricity coursing across their body, and will attempt to engage in melee. The real weak spot of a Goblin is actually its abdomen/lower stomach region where a glowing mind-core is situated. [6]
