Cabal Severi are paired cleavers employed by Gladiators, the elite warriors of the Red Legion.

Overview

Gladiators will attempt to cut up Guardians with these blades. They are dual-wielded and Solar-powered, enabling them to inflict serious pain with every strike.

Trivia

Gladiators and their variants are the only enemies seen wielding these weapons.
- Cabal Severus used by Ceremonial Bathers has a unique appearance to them, having a sort of “Cleaver”-like appearance.
This is the second sword used by common enemy troops against Guardians.
Dominus Ghaul's Solar Slicer attack uses Severi as his equivalent of the Dawnblade sword.
During the Destiny 2 Beta, the Severus inflicted burn along with it's devastating damage.
