Seeder Ship

A Seeder Ship is a Hive spacecraft used to colonize a world with Hive lifeforms. Typically, where a Seeder Ship has landed, a group of Hive have entrenched themselves, and the strange crystals and barnacle-like formations that signal a Hive presence have begun to spread. According to Ghost, the Hive have been using these ships to seed Earth for "centuries". The Crucible map Rusted Lands is the location where Guardians first learned of the Hive's incursion.

At least three Seeder Ships can be found in the Cosmodrome: one has crashed in the Refinery, another into the Jovian Complex, and a third at the coastal entrance to The Grottos. On the Moon, a Seeder Ship preparing for launch can be found in the Temple of Crota.
