A Primus is the commander of a Cabal Legion. According to Cayde-6 this is equivalent to "admiral".[1]
Primuses often appear as Colossi or a Centurion, but they are bigger and more powerful than normal Cabal troops,[2] and their loss would cause disorder within a Legion. If a Primus dies, or rendered unfit, the Cabal Empire will send a replacement via fresh fleets or troops.
